Grants in Action
Community One
Community One received a $15,000 grant from the Evansville Endowment Fund to support the Whole-
House Rehab program. The funding provided support to continue the organization’s efforts. Community One is an organization that serves to revitalize neighborhoods throughout the city of Evansville. Community One believes the condition of our neighborhoods directly impacts our quality of life.
Franklin Street Events Association
The Evansville Endowment Fund awarded Franklin Street Events Association with a $40,000 grant
for the purchase and installation of additional inclusive playground equipment at the Stoplight City Playground. Franklin Street Events Association serves to provide opportunities for families to come together through art, music, and entertainment of all varieties. Stoplight City Playground, located just two blocks from Franklin Street, is a family entertainment space supported by the Association.
Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville
The Evansville Endowment Fund awarded the Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville a $2,500 grant to support professional fees for two new murals in Self.e Alley. The Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville works towards improving economic growth in the Evansville Community by, “working to attract new businesses from out of the area, retain and expand existing businesses, foster innovation and entrepreneurship, and improve the quality of our community and its workforce.”
